Dinner Day 5: Avocado, Coconut Bacon & Spinach Cheeze Pizza

Our crispy Coconut Bacon is guilt-free but definitely not taste-free, and makes the perfect pizza topper.
Ingredients: Cheezy Sauce
  • ½ Cup Cashews (pre-soaked for 1 hour)
  • ¼ Cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
  • Juice from ½ Lemon
  • 1 Peeled Garlic Clove
  • Pinch Himalayan Salt
Tomato Sauce
  • 5 Fresh Basil Leaves
  • ½ Cup Sundried Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 Date (pre-soaked)
Coconut Bacon
  • ½ Cup Coconut Chips
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Coconut Aminos
  • 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • ½ tsp Paprika
Method
  1. 1. To make the coconut bacon, mix the liquid ingredients together and marinate the coconut chips
  2.  
  3. 2. To make the tomato sauce, blend all ingredients until smooth
  4.  
  5. 3. To make the cheese sauce, blend all ingredients until smooth
  6.  
  7. 4. Spread the broccoli bread with a generous layer of tomato sauce
  8.  
  9. 5. Add a layer of cheese sauce
  10.  
  11. 6. Top with chopped avocado, coconut bacon, hemp seeds and spinach

Thank you for sharing this recipe - I love vegan pizza but sadly you just don't see enough out there in pizzerias or cafes :(
