Certified Gluten Free by Coeliac UK. In September 2009, the FSA approved the labelling of oats as gluten free provided they test below 20ppm (parts per million). Hale & Hearty Porridge Oats fall below 5ppm. Current medical literature states that most coeliacs can safely eat moderate amounts of uncontaminated oats. Hale & Hearty test their oats 10 times between planting and harvest to assure seed purity, and then again before they are sealed and packed.

| Storage instructions | Store in cool, dry place |
| Disclaimer | May contain traces of nuts. Medical literature suggests that people on a gluten free diet, due to coeliac disease or gluten intolerance, should introduce oats into their diet slowly and gradually. |
| Other information | Ask you doctor or dietician for advice on how to timetable the introduction of gluten free oats into your diet. We recommend you start with 25g of dry oats per day, twice a week for the first 3 weeks. Then increase to 50g and 75g at 4-6 weeks. |
