Incredible lacto-fermented, organic Sauerkraut from Iceland. Modir Jord use traditional methods of lacto - fermentation which result in a highly nutritious food containing good bacteria (lactobacillus) for digestion. They use their own organically grown vegetables and other certified organic ingredients. This product is quite “Nordic” as we use kohlrabi and nordic flavors such as dill and caraway. Kohlrabi is light in color, fresh and very rich of juice which is excellent for the natural fermentation we use.
