Zabaglioni

Serves 4.

Ingredients

  • 5 egg yolks
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ cup Marsala

Instructions

Beat the egg yolks and the sugar with a wire whisk until creamy.

Place in the top of a water-filled double boiler over high heat.

Add the Marsala and continue to whip. Keep whipping until the zabaglione thickens and forms soft peaks.

Pour into a pretty glass and serve hot.
