"Tuscan Provenance Seggiano pasta is made in the unspoiled Val d'Orcia of Tuscany, using premium high density 100% Tuscan organic durum wheat. Certified Organic The wheat is organically grown and the grain is either refrigerated or sealed in a controlled atmosphere before milling. Organic grain is not treated with any harmful insecticide during production or storage. Slow Dried Heat degrades protein, the parte nobile of wheat, which gives cooked pasta good flavour and consistency. Seggiano pasta is slow-dried for a minimum of 26 hours at low temperature, to best preserve its quality. The premium wheat grain used and low handling temperature give Seggiano pasta an even, firm consistency and a really excellent taste. Made with a Bronz Form This traditional pasta is bronze drawn. Unlike smooth industrial pasta drawn through teflon, its rough, porous texture binds perfectly with sauces."
