Woodsmith lumpwood charcoal is 100% natural and proudly unrefined. There are absolutely no chemicals used or added to any Woodsmith products, ever. Woodsmith work closely with Somerset farmers to sustainably source every log they use and ensure there's proper orchard and woodland management to ensure the wildlife flourish. The logs are then turned into charcoal by hand using a traditional kiln method.
