5-minute Sun-Kissed Make-Up Look
Morgan Shelly, model and clean beauty guru, talks us through her favourite make-up look with her Planet Organic natural make-up must-haves.
Summer isn’t over just yet. And in my opinion, it doesn’t need to be sunshine and scorchers for you to wear a bronzed beauty look. Clean beauty is on the rise and with an increase in pollution, the use of face masks and environmental toxins, I always encourage a less is more approach when it comes to makeup. Cleaner formulas and lighter layers will leave your skin feeling fresh whilst looking dewy and plump.
It’s important to start off with a well-hydrated and nourished base. Your skin needs to be fuelled with the right ingredients first in order to bode well with makeup. I like to start my morning with a sweep of the Gallinee Face Vinegar. This removes all of the excess products I may have slathered on the night before and balances the skin's microbiome first thing. Then I add a layer of the Antipodes Glow Ritual Vitamin C Serum. This product is lush. It has a subtle glow and loads of active ingredients work effectively throughout the day. I always follow with a light moisturiser and a high SPF sunscreen.

The Madara CITY CC Hyaluronic Anti-pollution CC cream is pumped with hyaluronic acid to keep your skin hydrated throughout the day. Plus, it has antioxidant properties which makes it your ideal big city partner. I opt for a creamy concealer to cover any dark circles, red patches and unruly spots. The Inika Concealer is an easily bendable but buildable concealer which moulds to your skin with a few finger dabs.
The Pai Impossible Glow is the perfect summer companion. It is sunshine in a bottle and an all-rounder for the face. I like to use it on my cheeks, down the bridge of my nose and as a light creamy eyeshadow. A general rule of thumb is to follow a ‘w’ shape from your one cheek bone, along your nose to the other - this is where the sun would naturally kiss you and in colder months you can fake it.

Are you ready for the ultimate fluffy brow hack? Grab a fragrance free soap, I used a Faith in Nature one, and a brow brush. Use any beauty spray to wet the soap bar lightly and then run your brow brush along the wet patch, making sure the brush gets a waxy coating of soap. Brush your brows with the brow spoolie et voila, you have fluffy natural brows that aren’t going anywhere.
Last, but not least, finish your look with a subtle tinted balm. I adore the Hurraw Black Cherry Tinted Lip Balm. Don’t hesitate to dab some on your cheeks for a rosy finish. Spritz your face with a setting mist and you’re ready to go!
