Our Planet Organic Range
Since 1970, more than half of Britain’s biodiversity has declined, and it is estimated that 75% of the genetic diversity of agricultural crops has been lost in the last century. The loss of species occurring today is a major environmental concern.
By choosing organic, you are not exposed to artificial chemicals, pesticides or synthetic fertilisers which are really harmful to wildlife and human health, contaminating our food, air, and water and accumulating in our cells. Organic food also is thought to be better for your health and well-being due to the higher amounts of beneficial vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids.
More than organic: Gluten Free, Vegan, Soya Free, No Refined Sugar
In recent years, we’ve decided to combine our product expertise and knowledge of nutrition to bring to the market the healthiest and tastiest organic, free-from products.
Beyond being “simply” organic, our products are gluten free. But we won’t touch cheap gluten free fillers like white rice and corn, it’s about choosing highly nutritious alternatives like quinoa and buckwheat.
Our products are vegan but again, that doesn’t mean vegetable margarine or soy, we prefer coconut and nuts.
As for refined sugar, absolutely not – many of our products contain no added sugar at all. If our products contain sugar, we chose low GI, low fructose coconut sugar.
We all know consuming excess amount of sugar has been associated with many serious diseases, including obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
Sugar also takes its toll on the environment. The lack of biodiversity makes mono-crops like sugar cane and sugar beets especially vulnerable to insects, weeds, and diseases which can wipe out an entire crop. To combat this problem farmer, rely on pesticides to kill insects, fungi, and rodents.
We recently launched our Keto Bars which are sugar free, suitable for keto diet alongside with our delicious Low Sugar Truffles.
Our products are at the forefront of innovation, not only because they are free-from but because they incorporate key health benefits such as probiotics, paleo, low sugar, raw chocolate, and plant-based protein or sprouted grains.
