How do Theraguns work?

What is percussive therapy?
Theragun Percussive Therapy is massage reinvented™. Dr. Jason, the founder of Theragun, created percussive therapy to increase blood flow and decrease tension deep within the muscle, using a scientifically-calibrated combination of deep tissue massage at a high-speed frequency.
Theraguns have an amplitude of up to 16mm, reaching 60% deeper than other massage guns, to release tension and increase circulation.
The device is ultra-fast hitting and pulling away from the muscle 40 times per second, which overrides the brain’s pain signals to treat the muscle effectively and deeply.
What are the benefits of percussive therapy using a Theragun?

How do you use a Theragun?
Switch on the Theragun while it’s not touching your body so you can adjust to the right power setting before starting your therapy. Then float and glide the Theragun over the affected muscle and let it do the work for you!
Theragun has a linked app called Therabody, which is available on app stores which gives you guided routines for common ailments such as plantar fasciitis, tech neck, as well as specific sessions for many sports from running to cycling to Pilates to horse riding. Are Theraguns loud?

It also has 2 external lithium-ion batteries so can massage for 300 minutes before needing to be recharged. It comes with 6 attachments (standard bell, thumb, dampener, wedge, supersoft™ and cone). The device can also be charged wirelessly and had an OLED screen, Bluetooth and a force meter.
The Elite delivers up to 40lbs of no-stall force with a battery life of 120 minutes with customizable speed ranges as well as 5 built in speeds. The Elite has an ergonomic multi-grip design to help you reach all your muscles without strain. The Elite comes with 5 attachments (standard bell, thumb, dampener, wedge and cone). The Elite is also enabled to be able to charge wirelessly, has an OLED screen and is Bluetooth enabled.
